Luxembourg, Carinthia, november 2011.Luxembourg’s largest health care organization Stëftung Hëllef Doheem with more than 17.000 clients will use MOCCA for managing their health care processes. In presence of the minister of Health Mr. Mars Bartoli, the president of the Stëftung Hëllef Doheem foundation Mr. Paul Henri Meyers and the General Manager the contract with ilogs/recom was signed.
With the implementation of an electronic patient and resident record all care information and documents are collected and managed in one system. In future all employees of Stëftung Hëllef Doheem foundation who are involved in the care process get modern smartphones and tablets in order to have electronic access to the patients care records at any time and any place.
With this innovative system care quality is optimized and costs are reduced .The electronic patient record is based on the nursing language ENP © (European Nursing care Pathways) which makes the working and care process much easier. Despite all efforts to make the care process more efficient - in the centre of the care process will always be the patient needs. – says Ms. Pierrette Biver, director of nursing. An additional benefit of the electronic patient record is an alert notification which is included in the system. If there is an incompatibility of a medication the system warns the nurse.
Besides the organizational, economic and qualitative aspects the system was developed with the latest technology which fulfils the highest level of security.
